A student of the Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS), UP Open University, Antonio C. Antonio, is one of the awardees to the Save me Movement Search for the Ten Outstanding Movers of the Philippines (TOMP) 2015, Champion of Life and Heroes of the Environment Award.
The search seeks to recognize the exemplary and outstanding contribution of individuals in different fields of specialization that promotes protection and promotion of life. The search should showcase the best practices or engagements or accomplishments of outstanding movers in promoting the Save Me Movement objectives. TOMP seeks to inspire and motivate the members of the society to engage actively in environmental issues on personal and professional levels.
The awarding of the TOMP winners will be done on January 20-31 during the Save Me Movement’s 19th year anniversary celebration and the 7th National Convention in Boracay, Ecovillage Resort and Convention Center in Boracay, Malay, Aklan.
Antonio Antonio is a student under the Master of Environment and Natural Resources Management (MENRM). He said, “My personal environmental advocacy campaign is through the education, information and communication (EIC) approach using social media platforms and environmental lobbying.”
