Course Objectives:

By the end of the course, the students should be able to:

  • Understand the role of real estate in a diversified investment portfolio and the work of the real estate portfolio manager;
  • Interpret and apply the concepts and principles of real estate portfolio management;
  • Develop a portfolio investment strategy in real estate;
  • Analyze the risks associated with a portfolio investment strategy in real estate; and
  • Evaluate the performance of a real estate portfolio.
