Jean Saludadez is a Professor of the Faculty of Management and Development Studies  and serving as Affiliate Faculty of the Faculty of Information and Communication Studies (FICS) and of the Faculty of Education (FEd) and currently the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration of the UP Open University. She has been developing her scholarship along the agency framework and has enriched the teaching of her classes with the research she conducted and the papers/publications she produced along such framework.

She finished her degrees of Bachelor of Science and Master of Science  in Development Communication at the University of the Philippines Los Banos. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Communication from the Universiti Putra Malaysia.
