One of Laguna’s most popular tourist attractions, Pagsanjan Falls, is about an hour away from the office of the Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) located at the main campus of the UP Open University (UPOU). To get there by bus, you can take a Sta. Cruz bound bus just in front of the UPOU Headquarters. From Sta. Cruz, the capital of Laguna, take a jeep to the next town of Pagsanjan.
To reach the refreshing cool waters of Pagsanjan Falls, take an hour boat ride passing through Bumbungan and Balanac Rivers. You will pass through 14 rapids, with the help of two boatmen. If you are the sporty type person, you can hike to the falls from Cavinti, a nearby town. After 500 steps and two vertical ladders, you will be at the bottom of the falls. From there, you can take raft ride passing through the waterfalls into the Devil’s cave.
