Course Description: Provides a general introduction to contemporary land and real property laws in the Philippines as well as the public administration and institutional systems with respect to land use planning and regulation for sustainable development.

Course Objectives:

By the end of the course, the students shall have:

  • Gained a basic understanding of the concepts, principles, processes, systems of and practices in land laws and land use planning; and
  • Applied these basic principles and processes in assessing the various governance issues related to the roles of land and property laws and land use planning in sustainable development
