Course Title: Politics and Governance Dynamics in ASEAN

Course Description: The political and the governmental dimensions of ASEAN from a comprehensive perspective, the systems of governance, political institutions adapted by the regional members, and the issues and prospects viewed from the realities of governance and nation-building involving individual and collective approaches.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
1. Survey the diverse political and governance map of the region; and
2. Comprehend the various systems of political and government aspects in ASEAN that are directly relevant to the contemporary challenges and issues in the political transition and developments in ASEAN involving the member states and the region in quest of nation building and regional development.
