The first international conference of health professionals, to be held from 17 to 19 November 2025 at the Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University in Nonthaburi, Thailand, is a joint effort of three universities: the University of the Philippines Open University, the University of Sukhothai Thammathirat, and Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia under their nursing and health sciences programs. These institutions have pooled their health-related programmes and resources, to create this first international conference for health professionals.

Moreover, the aim of this conference is to promote cooperation between health professionals in a variety of contexts. Each health profession has its own unique strengths and valuable contributions to make in addressing global health challenges. As Wanyenze (2023) points out, achieving global health sustainability requires a key mix of contexts and sustainable health outcomes require cooperation and synergy between different disciplines. The pooling of health professionals promotes an inclusive and collaborative approach to global health challenges, ensuring that solutions are not only innovative but fair and sustainable. Participation in such a conference offers valuable benefits for a wide range of individuals and groups, including: health practitioners, researchers, policymakers and educators.

Rosenbaum et al. (2025) report on the topic of renewable fuels, stresses the importance of networking and exposure to different cultural perspectives in developing culturally sensitive health interventions. It also highlights the importance of promoting long-term cooperation through events such as conferences, which play a crucial role in advancing research and shaping global health policies.

We invite health professionals, researchers, educators, and policymakers to submit abstracts for the 1st International Conference for Health Professionals (ICHP 2025). This event offers a dynamic platform to present your work, engage with global peers, and contribute to the advancement of health systems and practices worldwide.

🔍 Submission Guidelines

Abstracts are invited for both oral and poster presentations. Kindly indicate your preferred presentation format upon submission. All abstracts will undergo peer review by the International Scientific Committee.

Selected abstracts may be invited to submit full papers for publication consideration in the Jurnal Universitas Padjadjaran and eligibility for the Best Paper Award.
