Course Description: Introduction to the history and the cultural and religious traditions of the ASEAN region. Regional identity.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
1. Discuss the diversity of ASEAN as a regional entity in terms of history, religion and culture; and
2. Relate the significance of history in the evolution of ASEAN tradition and the commonality each country shares with one another.
