In celebration of Zero Waste Month this January, the Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) aims to raise consumer awareness by joining the nation in cultivating a sustainable future while embracing the synergy of using recyclable food waste and creating a thriving ecosystem in the FMDS Perma GARDEN (Growing Appreciation Toward Resilience, Development, Entrepreneurship, and Nutrition).
In accordance with the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, this initiative supports the aim of designing and managing products and processes in systematically reducing and eliminating the production and harmful nature of waste and materials, and “to conserve and recover all resources, and not indiscriminately dispose or burn them.”
Join this journey with us towards a sustainable and resilient future, where waste becomes a resource for another, while contributing to Sustainable Development Goal (SGD) 2 of Zero Hunger at the local level.
Together, we achieve a Zero Waste Community!
