Based on the conducted 3-day field inventory of plant species on 16-18 January 2024, a total of 183 plant species were identified and 17 unidentified plant species. These were co-initiated by Dr. Jabez Joshua Flores, permaculture expert and designer, and Ms. Maryjane Reondanga, the Perma G.A.R.D.E.N. caretaker.

Meanwhile, the baselining of avifaunal diversity resulted to 22 bird species, majority of which were chestnut munia (Lonchura atricapilla), white-breasted woodswallow (Artamus leucorynchus), scaly-breasted munia (Lonchura punctulata), eurasian tree sparrow (Passer montanus), and yellow-vented bulbul (Pycnonotus goiavier). It was spearheaded by Mr. Benjamin Joseph Jiao, wildlife enthusiast, together with Dr. Flores and Ms. Reondanga on 20 October 2023.

This initiative of collecting baseline information within the Perma G.A.R.D.E.N. aims to determine threats to existing species and ecological communities within the area.
