The Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) proudly welcomes its newly appointed program chairs. The new leadership aims to enhance academic excellence and strengthen the delivery of quality education in FMDS programs. 

The following faculty members have been appointed as program chairs:

  • Asst. Prof. Jephte O. Muñez – Program Chair, Diploma in/Master of Land Valuation and Management
  • Asst. Prof. Rita C. Ramos – Program Chair, Master of Arts in Nursing
  • Asst. Prof. Ria Valerie D. Cabanes – Program Chair, Master in Nursing Education
  • Asst. Prof. Rose Nonette Capadosa – Program Chair, Master of Public Management
  • Asst. Prof. Ricardo T. Bagarinao – Program Chair, Doctor in Sustainability 

With their expertise and leadership, the new program chairs are expected to bring fresh perspectives and innovative strategies to their respective programs. Their contributions will be instrumental in advancing UPOU’s vision of being at the forefront of knowledge society as a leading institution of ODeL and its mission of widening access to quality education in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
