On 2 October 2025, members of the project “Participatory Approach in Assessing and Promoting Women-led Permaculture among Selected Permaculture Sites in the Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources (AANR) Sectors in the Philippines” conducted a scoping visit, drone mapping, and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing with Glinoga Integrated Farm located in Pitogo, Quezon.

The activity aimed to familiarize the team with the site, gather geospatial data through drone mapping, and formalize the collaboration between the project and the farm. These activities are part of the project’s continuing efforts to identify and support women-led permaculture initiatives that contribute to sustainable and inclusive agricultural development.

Representing the project during the visit were Dr. Jabez Joshua Flores, Raizza Anna Alforja, and Tiffany Leanne Catbagan. The team conducted documentation and site assessment while coordinating with the farm’s management to align the partnership goals with the project’s objectives.

Glinoga Integrated Farm is a permaculture farm based in Pitogo, Quezon, known for its integrated approach to farming that combines crop cultivation, animal raising, and sustainable land management practices. The farm promotes ecological balance, food security, and community empowerment through permaculture principles.

The scoping visit and MOA signing served as a significant step in strengthening the collaboration between the project and Glinoga Integrated Farm. It reaffirmed both parties’ commitment to advancing sustainable and women-led permaculture models that can serve as learning and demonstration sites for future community initiatives.
