What should ASEAN Studies encompass? What perspectives should shape it? And how do you translate the idea of studying ASEAN into an academic program?
Join Dr. Jean A. Saludadez of the University of the Philippines Open University and Dr. Norfardilawati Musa of Open University Malaysia, both of whom were involved in the early development of the ASEAN Studies Graduate Program, as they revisit the ideas, questions, and aspirations that shaped the Program in its formative years.
The conversation will also explore how this founding vision can continue to inform the development of ASEAN Studies and its possibilities for the future.
